We are committed to ensuring the complete safety our you, your family and friends once we start carrying out physical viewings once again.

Below we have outlined the procedures we are looking to implement for any viewings that are carried out in your home. In addition we will create a personally tailored list of anything further you would like us to implement so you can be assured that whilst we look to achieve a sale on your property you are a fully protected.

  • Anyone showing a property to a potential buyer will have used hand sanitiser and be wearing protective vinyl gloves.

  • Any staff showing a property will be completely symptom free and will have been for a min of 14 days.

  • We will arrive to the property earlier than normal to allow the property to be prepped for minimal contact, i.e have all doors to rooms opened for entry. Any spaces that buyers are likely to look in will be left ajar etc.

  • Only buyers that have been fully qualified and are in a position to push forward with an offer / purchase will shown around the property. We are always vigilant to ensure we don’t book time-wasters to view but this will be even more prudent at this unique time. Full information about the buyer and ensuring that their requirements and budget do fit the property they are enquiring about goes without saying.

  • Buyer’s with no property to sell will be asked to e-mail either their broker details or agreement in principle prior to the viewing.

  • Buyers with a property to sell that have said they are under offer will have their agent contacted to verify a complete chain prior to viewing.

  • Any buyers viewing your property will be asked to used hand sanitiser and wear protective vinyl gloves. We do also have a supply of face masks and can request these are worn for the viewing as well, especially if they are from out of the area.

  • On the viewing it will be ourselves that open any doors or gives access to outside space, storage spaces etc. to insure minimum contact from potential buyers.

  • A maximum number of people viewing will be agreed prior to viewings commencing. (We expect government guidelines around this to be issued as well)

  • Strict social distancing measures will be in place at all times.

  • We would request to help with social distancing that vendors do leave the property whilst viewings are being carried out. This could be that you go for a short walk, if thats not possible then we ask that you go to the garden / outside space. If neither of these are possible we will discuss personally options available.

These procedures will be constantly updated and amended as required to ensure we are doing everything and more to enable us to move towards agreeing your sale as safely and swiftly as possible.
